Supply list: Shadowheart's camp vest from Baldur's Gate 3

My version of Shadowheart's camp outfit is still a work in progress, but since many people seem to be making it, I wanted to publish some resources ASAP! This supply list is only for the vest, since I haven't made the other parts yet.

Note: none of these are affiliate links, since I haven't figured that out yet.

My current progress:

Patterns

A heavy modified Mccalls 6741 and vectors from Cospolpl on Etsy. Please note that the vectors include no instructions, dimensions, or pattern piece labeling. Also, I heavily modified the princess seam pattern via 3 mockups. This process made sense to me, but it is not for beginners.

Fabrics

• strength layer of cotton canvas and a tightly woven nylon taffeta that I had in my stash

• 1 yard of gray suedelike fabric

• 1 yard of black nonstretch pleather fabric (Apparel Weight)

• 1 yard (actually a lot less!!) of black and gold swirl embossed pleather fabric

• 1 yard of black felt for padding parts of the appliques

• tiny tiny bit of illusion netting in Color Tan 3 (front V)

• tiny bit of nude power mesh in Honey Beige

• tiny bit of stretch black diamond mesh

Corsetry/Boning

• Continuous Spiral Steel Boning 3/8" - 10 Yard Roll

• heavy-duty cable ties

• heavy-duty snips

• heat-shrink tubing from the hardware store. something like this

• heat gun

Appliqué

• print n stick stabilizer

• HeatnBond Lite Iron-On Adhesive

Notions

• heavy-duty separating zipper

• lightweight fusible interfacing

• black satin bias binding (I wouldn't necessarily recommend this exact one, since it ended up being too narrow for me and ended up doubling it up with a seam in order to use it.)

• pushup bra pad inserts
